
| Speedy Spring-Loaded Folders |

You can use spring-loaded folders (enabled by default in the Finder preferences) to work with folder icons (or stacks) on the Dock. For example, you can drag a PDF file icon from a Finder window onto the Applications stack to open it and drop the file icon onto a compatible application. This capability is new in Mac OS X 10.6.
