Restoring Data Mangled by Synchronization E-mail

MobileMe synchronization between Mac, PC, iPhone, and iPod Touch turns out to be a difficult feat, and sometimes data gets mangled. (MobileMe started out disastrously on this point, but has recovered.) If that happens, and one of your data sources is still intact, you can reset the data on the MobileMe server or on your Mac. In the MobileMe preference pane, click the Advanced button in the Sync pane. Click Reset Sync Data, choose which data to replace and on which device, and click Replace.
